Shahi Tukra (Royal Bread Pudding)



  • INGREDIENTS

  1. liter milk
  2. 6 bread slices
  3. 2 eggs
  4. Half cup sugar
  5. 3 green cardamoms
  6. 1 tablespoon pistachio chopped
  7. 2 tablespoon dried coconut powder
  8. 6 tablespoon regular oil
  9. 2 Pinch of  yellow  food color


  • PREPARATION


  1. Beat both eggs then spread it on to the bread slices, both sides with the help of a spoon. 
  2. Heat oil in a pan and fry the bread slices on low flame until they turn light brown on both sides.
  3. In another pan, pour milk, green cardamoms and turn the stove on medium flame.
  4. Add sugar and yellow food, then stir gently and cook until it boils on low flame.
  5. Spread the bread slices on a large serving dish and pour the mixture on the bread slice.
