January was cold and dreary but February is here

Lovers young and old are merry around this time of year

Put on your sweaters and write your letters to the Mister and the Misses

XOXO you know is the love you show with lots of hugs and kisses

Gifts are given from men to women

From girls to boys and back

Flowers or candy or whatever is handy

Isn't it lovely how opposites attract

Silver and gold or something bold but "I love you" is a start

I've been told anything can be bought or sold 

The best gifts come from the heart

The day of the saint is within sight 

So grab your loved ones and hold them tight

Seize the day because it will pass 

Hope and pray your love will last
